Although I only visit the hairdresser 3 - 4 times a year (she repremands me for not coming more often), when I find a good one, I continue until she leaves. Then the slow process again. No wonder I keep it it on the long side.

I have had the last lady hairdresser for 4 years. Male hairdressers don't seem to get it right for me. My current hairdresser does myr cut the way she likes it. My main reason is my first wife said often "You have no taste." But then again, look who she marriedconfused Okay by me to let someone who should know do it.

My hairdresser, Miriam, has a fantastic memory and after 2 -4 months can still ask me questions about my daughter (met once) and my ex-girlfriend (8 months ago now but also also once). Not sure why she remembers me but might be because I let her do what she wants with me (my hair, I mean). I should mention that she is married, never tries the 'brush up' for more custom or anything like that. We often (?) talk about her plans for her and her whole family, hubby included.

I love her being my hairdresser in the sense that she does my hair very very well and I will be loyal to her as long as she can cut my hair. But letting her know intimate secrets, NO those are MY secrets. Kiss and tell is not something I learnt and have no intention of taking up.

ps I am male, and love having someone wash my hair. Also having my back washed. Sorry, just dreaming about those things. I can think of no better way to relax, almost.

you reminded me of something when I was a kid.. my dad always calling my mum into the bathroom to wash his back for him when he was having a bath after coming home from work laugh

I dont think she would do it for him now tho uh oh but then again.. he probably wouldn't ask her to do it now either laugh

blondeozichick: most hairdressers I go to see dont talk that much thank god !!!.. would rather they just get the job done and I can get out of there.. but if they do get chatty I am happy to chat back about general stuff but I certainly wouldnt tell them anything I wouldnt want others to hear or know
thumbs up Where can you find a hairdresser that dont talk? Most wont shut up. Next time should tell them about CS forums.

Back in the days when I had hair, confiding in the hairdresser did sometimes happen. Because they are in the people business, they certainly know how to relate to others. Which is not a bad thing.
Nowadays I concentrate on finding a nice restaurant.
