older men want to feel, sense, taste, and smell youth and continue to relive what is quickly being removed from their lives with every fleeting breath. the really don't need a reminder
like Ed Hardy the tatoo artist..He has been making quite a killing in the fashion market now with his tatoo images on womens purses..I personally think most of the purses are ugly so I've never bought them. lol.. but to each their own i guess.
Swissblueeyes: I agreee. I never could understand why people wanted tatoos..I guess it looks ok on some people, but my dad told me the tatoos look terrible as time goes on they fade. It convinced me to never get one.. I have no tatoos at all.
I dont either but have to admit that on some I find it interesting

I know what you mean..I dated a guy who was a body builder and he had only a couple that were done tastefully..One on his arm and one on the top side of his chest..he was definitely a hottie..on others it just doesnt look good tho.
RDM59: I need to disagree with your last comment Sol, I don't think our generation has been the influence, not sure how the resurgence of tattooing over the past 10 years or so has got going again but I just see a lot of sad old sods getting them in an effort to regain some sort of youthful appeal.
You dont need tats rdm..Your a hotty at any age..I saw your photos too of when you were younger and man what a looker you were..still got it so dont feel bad at all..age isnt something to be afraid of..some people can look good all through their life..
... or are they quickly following the trend of the masses for acceptance purposes ? ....
Or perhaps it's the need to express some sort of individuality in these modern times of mass produced fashions and accessories, a way to try and stand out from the crowd.

Hi Sandie, it's good to be an individual. I would have thought creative clothing would be enough which can easily be changed as the times and fashions do, unlike tattoos ....
