Well, you can't go wrong with cocktail weenies. They taste as good as they look. And they come in this delicious red sauce. It looks like catchup - it tastes like catchup. But brother, it ain't catchup!uh oh

I don't even wish to see or watch the news anymore.

A lot of the reason for these so called wars are all political.

Ali,what do you think?
It is not the US who attacks libya but UN members so it is the US and Europe.
If attacking Libya is terrorism isn't murdering libyan civilians by ghaddafi not murderalso?
Isn't the killing of soldiers by ghadaffi not also murder? The only reason was that they did not wanted to murder other lybians.

thumbs up ali110

I really don't think that the US should be involved in Libya either. Recent polls in USA show that the American people are against involvement in the Middle East.

This is a very heads up thread, and I believe that the majority of Americans agree with you.

I am getting scared to talk politics. Ali-please understand. The world is so hard nowadays, I try to just think of all the beauty and the little things and small town life. Not very brave, but I just want life to be like its supposed to be, so try to not think BIG anymore. hugs, hug hug teddybear

Ali, we all hate war and terrorism.

If you saw a bully on the other side of the street picking on some helpless kid, would you feel obliged to go across and stop him?

Is the rest of the world expected to stand back and watch while Gadafi exterminates his own people, would we be morally justified in not doing anything at all. If there was another way for the Libyan people to be free of an oppressive regime I'm sure we would all prefer that.

In an ideal world there would be no need for armed conflict, governments would serve the people and not try and rule them with fear and intimidation.

tip hat Hi Ccincy

This is not the USA acting alone, this is the United Nations acting in unison to deal with an issue that can't easily be ignored.

Yes, but isn't having a little one to prevent a big one the better solution ?

I would not go by what the media are sensationalising, the UN mandate is not a declaration of war, it calls for UN's forces to deny Gadafi the use of Libyan air space to attack his own people and to stop Libyan military forces from killing civilians.
