I was set up with a blind date by one of my lovely customers.
Very good references, ticked all the boxes etc, etc...
When you finally meet one another, the vision you build up in your head vs the reality are quite alternate.
ie: tatts, eye brow piercings smokes a cigg every 5 minutes.
Needless to say incompatible.

No, but I was feeling a bit over dressed without sheepskin footwear. Nothings ever as it seems, what we are attracted to and others are two different things.

The younger you are, the less importance you place on your pre-requisites.

You come from a town of around 6500 - 7000 people, and this is the second time you have come into this forum and made less than complimentary comments about the women you have been out with.

I feel very sorry for these ladies, who's only crime was to spend a few tiresome, boring hours with you. As a result they have now been identified on a forum, where you know another local visits. In a town the size of yours, I've no doubt that the news will get around.

Maybe just maybe you are NOT going to find MRS Right, RIGHT now. Have fun dating for a while, meeting new people. Don't judge people for who they are, thats an individuals choice not yours.

We all have different taste, just respect that and move on.

that's why it is important not to carry on the internet yick yack too long. Get out and meet them.

Love should last a long time, it makes sense it takes a long time to find it.

Sounds like no one has a blind dating experience other than Kizzy.
At least I'm getting out there and putting my body on the line.

Sounds exciting.
Don't get your hopes up to high as I did as the deflation effect of unrealized expectations is a crappy feeling.

Nothing ventured nothing gained norm professor

I'm up for most things, and I'm not "desperately seeking" so it doesn't matter wine
