Which American accent, there quite a few, depending on the part of the country one is from. Same thing for Canadians, except us out west, we don't have accents.laugh

i really love accents, its hard to pick a favorite.
but jamaican is near the top.

I like most American accents except "red neck" types. You may not like this but I cant tell the difference between Canadian and American accents. Just like alot of people cant tell the difference between Ozzie and Kiwi accents.
We dont believe we have an accent either.

i'm from the midwest.
i was told midwesterners get picked a lot for radio etc.
for "lack of" an accent.
but,
when i moved south, i was told i had a "northern" accent.

well...i'll stay local wink

there are 20 regions in Italy and each of it has its dialect with a very specific accent...

some are quite difficult to understand for the persons outside that region..

it's said that they (dialects) are the richness of the italian language..

i'm fond of the venetian accent... as it has for me a nice melody (intonation)

I have a serious weakness for accents. Scottish, Irish, British, Australian, southern US, Texas (US). And if that accent (in a man) is accompanied by a nice deep voice, I'm a goner.
