Pretty much says Republicans would rather see this country go 3rd world then see Obama succeed...pretty selfish and unpatriotic. To Suggest we support a canidate like Sarah Palin, Jeb Bush Donald Trump (mr F bomb) is insane, look what the Republicans have done in Wisconsin, there plan is to do this nationwide and it won't stop at just public employees. You can count on all workers being attacked, like your 40 hour weeks forget it theres no limit to the hours worked and forget about having weekends off, maybe they will be bold enough to put your kids back to work. The tea party and Republicans have shown the ugly side and thier true selves, they support rich corporations and the mega rich and don't give a squat about you, what happened to all the jobs they were promising to create, no they pick on workers and try to strip thier rights away instead, wake up and see whats happening around you people before your rights are gone to.
For the first 2 years of his administration President Obama had the majority in both the House and the Senate. During that time they pushed through Obama Care or should I say, they rammed it down our throats. Interestingly enough, I can't recall anything promised during his campaign being delivered during those first 2 years in office, i.e. ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, closing GITMO, and the list goes on and on. If he couldn't do it when his party controlled both the House and Senate, why should we expect or hope for something different now? Damn, they couldn't even pass a budget for FY-11 when they controlled it all. Thankfully, the public spoke loud and clear during the 2010 mid-term elections.
I'm not a big fan of the tea party either but if their only purpose is to thwart the out of control deficits and debt, then so be it. Public employees' wages and benefits are out of control and if their states cannot operate within their budgets then something's gotta give. I suppose we could simply tax people more but where does it end.

Minnesota Republicans tried to balance the budget and after cutting and cutting and Cutting some more they were still 1.3 billon short of balancing the budget. You could fire every state employee sell every piece of property minnesota owns and you still would be billons of dollars in debt. You say state employees pay is out of control, you shouldn't talk about things you know nothing of. State of minnesota employees haven't honestly seen a pay raise since Rudy perpich was governor. Everytime a state employee did get a pay raise the insurance company got it. The reason we have a deficit in Minnesota is Because of Republican Tim Pawlenty, the public has spoke its supporting governor Mark Daytons idea of Taxing the 5% richest Minnesotans and big business at the same rate the Middle class and the poor are being taxed at which is currently 12.5%, the rich currently pay 8.5%, its a painless way to close the deficite without raising taxes for the 95% of Minnesotans. If the Republicans tax plan follows through 30,000 state county and city employees will lose there jobs, so instead of paying taxes to the state they will be drawing unemployement, what happened to the Republicans promise to create jobs, this isn't creation its destruction and obviosly put us in a deeper recession if not all out depression, people voted believing they would create jobs and the republicans flat out lied, next time elections come around its going to go the Democrats way, you can't do it to people like they did it in Wisconsin without repercussions.I'm not a big fan of the tea party either but if their only purpose is to thwart the out of control deficits and debt, then so be it. The last time rich middle class and poor were taxed on the same level was during the Perpich administration in which Mark Dayton was in that Administration. During that time our state was prosperious, then came Arne Carlson (R) two terms thats when tax laws changed, we then had Jessie Ventura (I) Then two terms of Tim Pawlenty(R) who is to blame for our 5+ billon dollar deficit because he wouldn't raise taxes, what he would do is force cities and counties to raise taxes by not giving them any state aide dollars like normal business, now the legislator and senate is majority and they want to support the 5% richest Minnesotans, they have even had the balls to come out with radio and tv ads that say minnesotans should live within there means and that Daytons going to tax us all, Republicans are what made me a democrat because you can tell when they are lying, there lips are moving.
