Do you believe in Astrology? (173)
If a star was 100 light years away and it burned out (so to speak). Then for 100 years people would based there lives on a star that no longer exist! In fact the light from stars now happen years ago....before many were even born. So its old news!

There have been many opinions about Astrology on this thread. I would have made this thread a poll, but that can't be done on chat threads. It’s not in the list in creating polls.
I would guess that the poll would say about 50/50, believers/non-believers. I myself don't know. I see good arguments from both sides.

Astrology Vs Astronomy?
I tend to favor Astronomy over Astrology because Astronomy is something that we can see with our own eyes and Astrology is the abstract that we cannot see other than within our own minds.

I studied Astrology as a young man. I didn’t believe it at first, but then I saw some strange things happen. We studied in a group. Bruce was the teacher and interpreter.
We had to find out our exact birth times and produce our own charts, which we interpreted for each other every week. In my case, the group was able to tell me the name of my first daughter, that I would have (2) children and the name of my 2nd wife; all came true.
