Thanks hon grin

Sooooo she said the biggest thing in their relationship is their ability to make EACH OTHER laugh so I guess she has played just as many pranks on him lol

and she also said that she knew how much he absolutely loves her so she was probably just s bit shocked at the water throwing malarky rather than thinking he was having an affair eh?

Its all making even more sense now grin

hug wine

bodleing: A lot of complexes being activated on this thread me thinks.

And those who fear to walk on any floor...for fear that good is something bad is not.

Like I've said, I've not seen the video, just gleaned information from people's comments.

It does rather leave the door open for this man to have an affair and pass it off in the light of the prank, does it not?

Just another joke, ha ha.

I prefer straight talkers, myself.

EagleWoman: Aren' we all different?

I'd prefer a guy who would love me so much, it wouldn't occur to him to make me cry "for fun" ...

Wow - this thread is interesting! hmmm Again, I'm a reality TV-lover, and I find this totally without redeeming features, but...? hmmm

jac379: Thank you, Ambrose.

Much appreciated.

A prank that makes someone you love cry is self-evidently wrong - that is, it self-evidently crosses the line.

The logic of that is inexorable. Sorry, guys/gals, who think otherwise. There NEVER is any excuse for purposely - as a joke - making someone you love feel that kind of pain.

It's as simple as that.

Speaking for myself I don’t really care for this type of stuff and in this case disliked what happened. It’s not my cup of tea. Some like all the attention while others don’t care for it or it’s just not important.
As for it indicating how much one loves or how much love one has I remain a little sceptic based on what I’ve seen though this doesn’t mean this wouldn’t be the case in some of these situations.

Apparently some women get off on this. They are fine with taking the emotional equivalent of a kick in the gut to get something they really want.I don't get it,but some people like that stuff.dunno

It was typical pantomime tv fodder that was not meant to be taken too seriously. Still,it does highlight how easily some people can confuse reality with a piece of drama.

thumbs up

Several things also: the water in the face was quite obviously just a ploy to get him away from the table..

Her family and best friends were obviously "in on it" as well, and would hardly condone something they thought would hurt her in anyway..

And finally, the look on her face for the majority of the vid was pure delight.

Anyway, off for a beer.

cheers

Maybe I'm not that overly sensitive but I was mildly irritated that her reaction to the water throwing would be to cry. I imagine it was never his intent to make her that upset and he probably misjudged what her reaction would be. BTW gemeh...teddybear
