Still heaps to do in this world, but the reality is that I am getting close to leaving it ( I have another echo cardiogram today and will have some up to date info) Regrets? Nope, bad decisions yep, but in the end they all led me to who I am today and I am happy with that. I have lived a while, learned a lot experienced heaps with the highlight being a year as Dad, mum, granddad and best friend to a little girl who calls me Granddad back in 2008 some of you have met her. Really people life is too short for regrets and recriminations, the person you are today is a product of all your life experiences. Embrace yourself and your life, believe me, you will be where I am tomorrow, so enjoy today. heart beating heart beating heart beating heart beating teddybear teddybear teddybear teddybear

If we study the nature of our sufferings, then we can start to act more skilfully when events crop up.
Given our nature is moving energy and the seeds from our past have a habit of ripening when the right conditions arise its then the time we are able to better react and transform negativity into a poor positive flow of energy.
Whether the continuance occur's in this or the next life is kind of a nonsense, its what we do right now, how we react that matters. As we have migrated from life to life from beginningless time better to put ones house in order asap...

I've known what it was to be truly loved ... I've lived a full life, and am at peace with my past, and have put things in place to ensure that Shortie would be protected... so I have no unfinished business or regrets.

Not that I want to give things the flick any time soon, I have a lot more living to do....

UWM hug I hope all goes well with your tests, and that you get good resultsteddybear

Yeah, I'm sure a lot of us feel like that, but just remember that time can heal some of it, and the rest depends on whether we can work through it and leave it behind.

My adult children have been affected by my past decisions for sure, one having dealt with it and moved on, the other still stuck in the past to some extent. Everyone's different.

Personally, I've dealt with it and left it behind, I'm not going to spend the rest of my life living in that shadow.

And if I died tomorrow, I'd know I've done everything I've ever wanted to do, forgiven myself for my misdemeanors lol, and the rest is ice cream cool

made some kickass mistakes, and will surely make some more yet too.

but regrets are few and far between, like UWM said, it's what we've done already that makes us what we are now.

if i died tomorrow ??? well i'd probably be cremated by thursday or friday, depending on how busy the crematorium is this weekwow
