DUBLINGUY1973: I think he still will. It was a great performance by Blackburn today and they deserved their win but I think it will take a better manager than Steve Kean to save them from relegation. I think after today's clanger, its time he dropped De Gea and gave Lindegard a chance.
that was surely a panic buy ,could cost em we are on sky sports live tomorrow at 1230 see how it should be played laugh

A total of 14 players out for us today, it took its toll.

If City dont win the league, there is something drastically wrong! I have accepted City will win a league, and it will probably be this year...

It's definitely theirs to lose, nobody wins titles at Christmas though and i'm loving this seasons title race, all the top teams will drop points from now till the end of the season, especially with the African Nations coming up aswell

I agree with you that its not won at Christmas! But the injury list is too ferocious now in my opinion, Vidic out for the season will take its toll come May! City have world class players on the bench, we have Gibson, Anderson, Keane, Pogba, Fryers...

Fergie made a huge mistake in resting Giggs and Rooney who are not injured, his arrogance didnt pay off today and he didnt show blackburn enough respect! Afterall they did get a result at Anfield only a few days ago

According to Fergie, Rooney was injured. Anyway it turns out United losing to Blackburn doesn't really matter now that Sunderland beat City 1-0 today.

Ji that was close grin

Losing to anyone is worrying especially when you have the amount of injuries United have had lately. Against Blackburn, we were forced to put Valencia at right back and Rafael Da Silva in central midfield although i think personally i would have put them the other way around. Michael Carrick had to play in central defence and most of our defending in that match was shocking. Henley actually could have had two goals in that match because he missed a chance minutes before he actually scored.

The point I was trying to make though is that since City lost too, it doesn't have a major effect on the title race especially since Spurs only drew and Chelsea lost.

Liverpool only had one or two injuries and they could only manage a 1-1 draw at home against Blackburn. Sometimes the relegation threatened teams can be harder to beat.

I watched the game and The SCUM were rubbish, Purple Nose had no respect for Blackburn and got punished, simple as that!!

Liverpool didn't just manage a draw, they were all over them and their keeper got man of the match.

Citeh are gonna win the league, anyone that thinks different is living on false hope

Yeah United were rubbish but It had very little to do with respect. As I said we have a lot of injuries lately so Fergie was forced to make changes. Besides, nobody would have predicted that Blackburn would win that game.

City and United have now both lost two games in the league this season. If United have cause to be worried then so do City I would have thought confused

If United were sixth in the league at this stage of the season, then I might be worried tongue

crying

Ah sure its only football frustrated frustrated

Theres only two teams in it now and while I think City should shade it they will be made work hard for it as Utd wont give them anything.
A lot will depend on how City react now to this blip they are having. Mancini needs to earn his money laugh

blumoon: Your not joint top your SECOND. City didn't finish joint 2nd last year they finished 3rd on goal difference.

Bloody hell what a weekend of strange results. Didnt expect to lose at Sunderland to be honest. Mancini will have to find a way of breaking down teams with 11 men behind the ball. The team and indeed the fans are feeling a tad jittery. Huge game tomorrow against the Pool, could possibly be a cracker. Am bringing the Mrs (We met in here lol) to her first ever footie game this weekend which happens to be a Derby FA Cup game. Lady luck I hope shall shine. Fascinating second half of the season in store with a few new faces in the January window perhaps.

Should be a cracker at the weekend, form goes out the window for these derby games! If ye had played Sunderland a few weeks ago, ye would have throttled them, Martin O Neill has made a huge difference to the mentality of the players there, they didnt deserve the win, but they got it from determination! Arsenal had a great opportunity to get right back into the title race today and they fekked it away, i still dont believe Spurs will be anywhere near come May, Chelsea were blessed to win today at Wolves, we have a tough game away to Newcastle, there are bound to be lots of twists and turns yet! Enjoy the game the weekend!

I like the bold part Blu laugh

Interesting season all right. Arsenal, at the end of 2010 had the same points total as they had at the end of 2011, yet were 5 points from the top. City have set the standard this year and Utd have kept up, even with their injuries. Arsenal were never candidates for the League Rob. If they finish in Champions League place (which most people said they wouldn't) I will be delighted.
Liverpool have been a huge dissapointment this year after their expenditure and I was particularily disgusted at their reaction to Suarez's punishment. I thought Liverpool were a better club than that.
Villa Boas is losing the dressing room (read Terry) and I cant see him lasting. It was always a gamble in hiring him.
Biggest dissapointment this year is Bolton. I dont know whats going on there yet I think highly of Coyle confused

I just hope RVP can stay fit laugh

Hope your Lady enjoys the weekend Blu and I hope City can win the League.
