Yes it could have went either way. I think if the game was at the bridge its not a pen as he could not get out of the way. But being at the council house the ref was always going to give it. No arguments with the decision though.

The point is his arms were outstretched to assist in the jump. If they were at his side in a natural position it shouldn't have been given. Thats the criteria that refs are supposed to use although it doesn't always work out that way

Well the letter of the law says the handball must be deliberate. But we all know they don't follow that. If it was outside the box I don't think he would have given a free kick though. City were the better side on the night though. I can't see them beating Arsenal away so if they draw that they are in trouble anyway.

I think there are lots of twists and turns to happen yet. I can't see Arsenal continuing on this run and they are going to have blips and the race for third could be very close. Utd and City will drop points in the run in and it will be interesting of City have the balls to win this League now considering Utd's experience.
