It would be a shame if he did because he's a good manager but the board are going to have to do something soon. Either back him in the transfer market or sack him. Three days left until the window closes so both Arsenal and Wenger are running out of time.
I think either Chelsea, United or City could win it but if United keep playing like that, I can't see anyone catching us.

Can't say i blame Merson but he's right. It would be foolish to sack Wenger three games into the season. It will be interesting to see what Arsenal do now before the transfer window closes. I think if they don't spend some major money now on experienced players, they will struggle to qualify for Europe again next season nevermind qualify for the champions league.

Ah he's not as bad as Redknapp though. Jamie won't shut up long enough for anyone else to express an opinion. Gary Neville might be a bit biased for United but he knows his stuff.
I'd fancy West Brom to take points off Arsenal. Arsenal took the lead twice yesterday and they still lost 4-3 to a side that are tipped for relegation. They seem very short on confidence at the moment and Wenger will have to do something soon to motivate them and turn things around or he could be in trouble. Arsenal just can't seem to pull it together at the moment despite making some really good signings just before the transfer window closed.
