chocolateflavour: How do you and your love once (or ex-love) met? I'd like to read people's love story(ies)
My first wife and I met while working for the same company, Timberland Boots. After almost ten years of marriage, she gave me the boot.
My second wife and I met right here in the forums. Married July 14, '07 and now waiting for a divorce to be finalized. Despite claiming to still love me, she wants her maiden name back.

I was driving a catering step-in van and a young tiny girl raced past me in a similar van. I got to the Chrysler gate where my boss was waiting to serve the noon rush with me, and I told him "I'll be right back... some chick just passed me in a catering truck". Through the singles/ companion ads in a major newspaper. New city; wanted to go to concerts, operas, try various restaurants, so I made contact with one one woman who had advertised for the same thing as all her friends were always too busy. On the way to meet. she began to run late and slipped on stairs and banged her head on a bannister post...she arrived but rather bruised. Fortunately we were only a block from a large downtown hospital, so I took her there. After 4 or 5 hours out she came with a few stitches and groggy; put her in a cab and took her home, put her to bed and sat up with her TV. She woke the next day and we started enjoying each others company. About 8 or 9 months later we were married until she suddenly died suddenly...our luck ran out.
