Here's a thought. (I have them now and then)
What if you got to select where you wanted your tax dollars to go each year when you paid your taxes.
Maybe have a list to select from (multiple choice) Then give the percent you wanted to go to those departments until you reached 100% of what you owed.

I'm big on defense and education so that's where I'd want the bulk of my money to go. But like I said, I'm not political smart and don't realize where we really need the money. I know I need the money in my pocket but I didn't see a choice in the list for Department of Montecito..

President Reagan knew what was going to happen when he said government should mind their own business. Regardless that he's a republican, I think he was right. We never had so much government in our lives as we do now.

When I worked in the public sector, I saw it as a cancer. (mutant cells multiplying exponentially) It did seem that way. Very discouraging.
