I let this man know what I thought of such a suggestion....loyalty is one thing....but he says she must 'obey him'. Some men obviously still do not see women as equals which I find rather strange.
Just wondering if others have seen this as well. Also, are MEN asked to 'obey' by some women???? (and I do mean in an 'overall relationship sense')
I have been in several relationships as have most single women my age, however, only once (in my early 20s) was I ever expected to OBEY, - which came as quite a shock as both of my parents raised us to be equal in relationships and part of a team - needless to say, that early relationship was nipped in the bud. In my 30s and 40s I have never even come across a hint of this.
Are we going backwards to the 1800s?
