The trouble with the internet is everything comes down to 'searching'
And internet dating is the same, google me up a partner
One day we'll learn that this is not the answer, and maybe we'll go back out there, dip our toes in the water once again and let things happen naturally, like they used to, without all the 'searching,.

I'm on several dating websites, every time I think I have found someone genuine, it's contact me at such and such email address, or call me on a certain phone number - which is usually an international one, or there is the classic "contact me through MSN messenger"...
I don't mind talking on messenger or via a private email, but it's called get to know the person you may be interested on the dating site FIRST!

I find that my scammers lol ask for contact outside of the site as soon as I've replied mostly
Then it's hasta la vista baby BLOCK.

How about just make friends first, communicate via this site and as was posted earlier on today and suggested by another female member from Australia, ask them eventually to get connected via webcam, so then you know for certain you deal with the person they say to be. And ... look carefully to someone's profile if he is looking or not, and if so, be pro-active, instead of letting someone approaching you. My one cent of advice.
