Yes some of us have a bigger ego than others but that doesn't mean we should be judged of ridiculed.
The one who realizes the size of his Ego is better prepared to deal with life. Does it mean it's right to get your ego pumped up and look at people from above? No. But it doesn't also make it right for those who THINK their Ego is in check to judge others. We're all in the same boat and to think oneself better than another is the result of the Ego as well.
Okay, that's my rant for today.
Indeed...
"Most of us have only truly grown when our ego's haughty power has been brought down. An open and humble ego will recognise and keep in check any complexes that seek to undermine the soul or psyche,
therefore allowing true self awareness and the value of others.
Left unchecked, the ego can be like a petty tyrant reaffirming it's 'rightness' as compensation for the swamp of doubt on which it's castle is built."
James Hollis...or should I say my interpretation of his words.
