personally what I would do is all the courses necessary prior to coming over, they can get quite hexy depending on what field you’re into.
ive been working up in the mines from out of mackay...and theres plenty of work avail,haypoint in particular are looking for 500 workers...be warn accomm is scarce and very very expensive!!!

I thought the companies provide accommodation for their workers ? People I've talked to have said they live in company demountables. Not flash, but have aircon, foxtel and does the job.

You need two years experience?
I have all the qualifications and licences now but without the two years experience they wont touch me and I live here?
But on a side note they also need staff to look after the mining crews like cleaners and cooks, it still pays well but not as well,
