Post-modernism focuses on the narrative. The "meaning" is within the context of the question. One could ask: "What is meaning?" and it would be just as relevant. Since "meaning" is based on "context", then we begin to see the ultimate issue, and paradox, with how you phrase your question.

Do rocks and minerals have meaning? Do they seek meaning? They exist, but do they care? And if they do, how are we to judge their views on such an absurd concept, as to them it must seem, that which we currently qualify as "alive"?
A virus, by the current scientific definitions, is not alive. It does, however, affect that which is defined as "alive", so by definition, it has context, and should be considered alive, in the sense that its meaning affects larger contexts than itself.
So, ultimately, as the above illustrates, meaning is context dependent, and as such, life is a quid pro quo of that context. Meaning is derived from the context, and that context is living. hey doc...how are you?i think life is not definable....without love the is no life..i know you feel this way sometimes...but i know you have a love for life..things are not as bad as they seem miss..i always think if i got it this bad someone else has it worse...and it carries me thru...i push myself to be happy for the things i have in my life and if you let it things keep you distracted...the things happening everywheres are important as you make them..there are no door prizes for second place...you are damn good at what you do but somewheres some bruised your soul...i know you are a proud woman stand tall...life is a chest out eyes open type deal and if you let oppurtunity pass it might not come back for a while..so grab life by the balls and twist them to get what you want...you can take happiness with you anywheres..a wise friend is something special dont expose your soul on this topic ....unless you are damn sure you wanna here from the wise...anyways life???life is what you make it..i wallow with self pity at times becoz i need humbbling..its self disciplining...for all that wrong within the are something right...
