rizlared: At 1395ft The Worcestershire beacon should really be called a mountain, but the Malvern Hills sounds much nicer than Malvern Mountains somehow.
bodleing: The Malverns and all around surrounding areas are really beautiful Riz, was down there a few weeks ago...great pic btw
Yep a truly great place to grow up in, spent so many hours on those hills I know them better than my own hand lol, It was the amazing Roman workings on the North Hill that formed my lifelong interest in History, easy to see why Elgar was moved to write music based on this areas countryside. While here in China I have seen some of the most beautiful and wonderful scenic areas, but still find myself remembering Malvern and of course your own part of the British Isles, we are very very lucky to have such an amazing country, thankfully not being decimated as it is here in China in the name of "Money".
