probably why no direction, possible lost his/her listen. Or just not used to looking at truth, trying then to take an easy road just because it looks easier.
Head in sand mentality, not addressing something thinking it will go away and never reappear, in reality until the lessens have been learned it surely will keep reappearing until you have properly dwelt with it.

Let them make their own mistakes and then establish themselves from your advice 20 years down the track when they come crawling to you asking you for your pearls of wisdom.

You can give people all the "Rich Dad Poor Dad" books and "Richest Man In Babylon" books you like, it's not until people are willing to read the words and acknowledge them as being fact and not fiction that they can start to act on them.

Too true Rob...thumbs up

But sometimes people with good intentions forget to ask the other person what and where they would like to head which ultimately means we live their life and not our own ....

It's like personal coaching,
A. where do you want to be in 20 years 1) retired and financially secure 2) working full time with a mortgage 3) unemployed and renting a govt house?
B. If I told you there was an easy way and a hard way to get to 1) would you like to know the easy way?
C. My advice is totally free and comes without an invoice or payment plan.

In the last 20 years my plans have changed a lot...

some my doing...some caused by others....
and the government sure throws some curve balls along the way..

we can plan for an easy retirement and along comes a super fund that loses thousands along the way...

our future is never written in stone

Investing in cash flow rather reliant investments rather than capital growth reliant stuff is the key.

Harshly judging the karmas of others is silly.
The father told police he was an alcoholic who drank up to four bottles of scotch per day and spent his time looking for his next drink.

He said he spent up to 22 hours per day playing computer games.

In another interview tendered to the Magistrate, the mother she had been unwell and overwhelmed.

Magistrate Paul Foley said he took account of the pair's lack of prior offending and other personal circumstances when fixing their sentences.

He jailed the man for five months and the woman for three because she had made more of an effort to rectify the problems.

So it looks like the magistrate is providing an opportunity for the couple to act more skillfully, hopefully they will take stock and improve there outlook

Hi Rob... agree that hopefully they will take stock and improve their outlook... but I have to wonder... where are the grandparents and other interested relatives... gosh, where is the support network of family... surely some other relatives would be interested in the welfare of the the children..??? wave
