Lookin4missright: Yes Venere you are 100% right JMO. When i had my op i had a crook spine & could hardly walk I contimplated suicide a few times as im sure anyone that has had a bad back can tell you about the pain. I tried everything i could, diets, medication, hypnotherapy etc... to get weight off.

As i could'nt excersise because of back always going out on me, i did some homework re: hgr off a couple friends husband & wife who had it done. Thats why i said it is not for everyone, i did'nt get op to lose weight to snag myself a woman but to snag myself a job to pay my mortgage & to survive & not be pushed around in a wheelchair the rest of my life.

I dont know Mr Hazmo's situation but only gave my opinion, it might not be the right one but being over weight can leed to depression & depression can leed to suicide which is NOT a cool thing to do which now years later im grateful i did'nt go that path.

Yes you are 100% right Venere about "lifestyle change" They are the key words I had a reversal & did'nt change my ways, and have put weight back on being no-ones fault but my own

I really hope Mr Hazmo takes your advice (lifestyle change) b4 a part of his body gives out because of weight & not to snag a woman.I know some of you are pis*ed off with my (true)sob stories and sorry but you dont have to read my posts If s/one can take even a smidgeon of my life stories and benefit in anyway im happy If not yep im back to being a di*khead

professor scold

You are not a di*khead - don't ever let me hear you say that about yourself again.... gawd you made me so angry - You are an individual in your own right with warts and flaws like the rest of us... and just because of what goes on your personal life overflows into the forums - you have never changed the core being of yourself... so never apologies to anyone for being who you are.... damn you!!! I thought I only let rip in the internationals...doh mumbling

Hi Hazmo, Knowing you can't have what you want as what you want doesn't want what you do, it's time to move on and find someone who wants you.
I've seen a lot of uglier people than you with beautiful partners so I wouldn't say beauty is the only attractant when dating someone. If your personality is on show along with your life experience and knowledge, I'm sure you could beat a lot of pretty boys with their bums hangin' out of their pants and their blank stares of ignorance.

Like anything, you could chase money, looks, popularity and end up with zip if you're not true to yourself.

My dear as far as I have seen NOBODY is fed up with your explanations about yourself in fact it gives us some idea about who you are ...in fact I understand what you are going through as I am waiting for an op on my back myself and I have to take oxycontine (long acting)these drugs are highly addictive so I only take one every 24 hours instead of every 12 hours,am on the urgent list so its only a matter of about 6weeks to wait.

So if you want to open up about yourself never hesitate as we all have our own problems and demons to fight OK.hug teddybear

hazmo61: Hey Lookin, Thanks for your comments, they and those of others who have posted here have given me hope for the future,

yes, I know I should just forget about HER, but as she is the ONLY woman I have ever had any feelings for so it's going to be a long hard road, but like they say say "every journey starts with one first step" or some thing like that anyway,

I hope I have put my foot on the ground towards starting my journey. As for your saying you are "not good at writing and putting words in the right place" I think you did a pretty good job here my friend, thanks so much and to all of you for your helpful and honest comments,

I look forward to reading and perhaps even posting some more threads on this forum as my journey continues,

all the best to all of you ,

Hazmo

All the best to you Hazmo thumbs up

Hear this.... you are NOT UGLY' you have a really nice face, all you have to do is lose that weight to match your looks, Plus you will live a hell of lot longer.

Please keep us up to date how you are going OK. hug

The brain does funny things with messages. One of the most common things to happen is when you (or someone else) says "Don't foget to buy the milk" (for want of a better item).

The brain repeats "Don't forget...., don't forget...., don't forget...." until it finally shortens the message to its simplist form of "Forget milk."doh
