In response to: There's a lot of talk/threads about what men should be, what women should be, deflecting responsibility for our self in a relationship. Rarely do we discuss what we want to be in regards to a relationship. I think that's kind of important if not integral to our own happiness.
So, wtf do you want to be?

In my case it's best to start with a simple starting point. So lets start with teeth....you have to have them.
Then a sunny personality. After all it's a requirement to better my life to be part of it.
I don't mind about education, religion or hobbies. all those things are ideal to explore together!
Main thing is to find anyone happy, that doesn't want a miserable life! Surely that's the starting point?

Far better to add something to someone's life than detract from it.
After all, We all want to be happy right?
If someone can make me laugh or smile, and have a good time in their company that's the right place to start in my book.
It would be a plus if they also looked like Salma Hayek, but main thing is I can have a good time with people I mix with.

I know several people without teeth and it may surprise you but they seem to manage a fair amount of happy .... and they dont bite, thus contributing to other's happiness.
Mind you the odd well placed bite here and there can be happily accepted.
