Incidentally sky to reply to the point you made on the last thread I stand by my assertion that Kerry handed ye the sam last year. Ye still had to go on and win it so fair play on that score but Kerry have to wonder how they threw away a 4 point lead. They never would have capitulated like that against us, nor would we against ye.
I don't think the league final was comparable because we dominated the second half save for the first 5 minutes. Also in 2010, while Dublin were the better team for most of the game, only once did I begin to worry that we wouldn't win. That was when ye got the 2 quick points to go 3 ahead after DOC scored the penalty. The rest of the time I was convinced that we'd do it.

I think we'll agree to differ. Tradition gives some teams the name for never giving up...like Meath, and when they grab victory from the jaws of defeat they are heralded as supermen. Dublin dominated more of the final in terms of time. The 1-2 Dublin scored in the last 8 minutes were good scores. No hail mary balls lumped into the square or dubious penalty....

You're superman comment is interesting Cork won an All-Ireland 2 years ago and were panned for it, ye did it last year and were celebrated on the late late show.

will ye give us a break.kerry scored 1-2 in the first 35mins of that match.they were dyer.the dubs shouldve been 6or 7 up at half time.we had a few bad wides.if gooch hadnt of got that wonder goal,they wopuldve been booed off the pitch.dublin turned the screw when the clock was ticking and scored 1-2 between the 64th and 67th minute.i watched it again the other night.the better team won.
p.s,how can a tean have 37 munster titles and only 7 all irelands.i was a bit taken aback when marty morrisey said that last week during the munster final.cork are the all ireland bottler champions

The one I can't believe is Antrim beating Galway, very low scoring too. I'll be waiting to see the highlights of that one to see what the hell happened
