Would you rent a room in your house to this guy? ( Archived) (5)

This is an actual Craigslist ad. It appears at least twice a day in my area and has for several weeks. If you had children would you rent to this guy? There is something about this ad that freaks me out.

I would like to share a home or apartment in the Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Chester or Hanover area.

I am neat and clean, do not smoke and am drama free.

I have a nice personality and am very easy to get along with or I can stay in my designated area.

Children love me and I love them.

I have my own car.

Thanking you in advance for your consideration.

As Felixis said it's probably an unfortunate choice of words but No laugh

In saying that I rented a room in my house in the UK to a guy I knew and worked with. Had to drag him off his girlfriend one night as he was beating her up so what do I know doh

This could be an innocent advertisment, however I would advise anyone with children, whether taking in a lodger or starting a relationship to do some kind of police check. Yes if its a relationship it seems very unromantic to do so, however your children have to come first.

Does Megans Law cover this for doing a Police check dunno
