we have had some really hot wheather this year 98- 100 degrees, could say we are in a drought, have had little rain. yes we have farming here , corn, wheat pretty much anything that will grow in our area.

Yes I have been to many gun shows and have bought lots of things there. I have enjoyed going there and will go to more. I have guns, rifles mainly. This past season I bagged 3 deer. Love the meat. Even though guns are part of American culture, I don't think they are our identity. I don't know the statistics, and while a lot of Americans have guns, I don't think it is "most".
I am not aware of "gun festivals".

Yes I think so too. I live on a large property in a state forest and am happy to have guns. I keep them in a safe, no-one but me can get to them. I have never had any desire to shoot any human being, and my guns don't either.

we also have. and people are allowed towalk with them hanging in their hips also...and also we have accid, the same that is used in Pakistan,Iran, and Afghanistan and burn slowly...nice legacies from that side of the world in both cases!

I carry a 44 magnum on my back, a 45 acp on my hip and a .380 in one of my socks for shooting bowling pins and sporting clays and also whenever I go to church and dining w/o exception, and always facing the door. When mature, my bull terrier will carry all the bandoleers and extra magazines wrapped around her under a sweater and et. al.

Hi Ali, here in the states like most things people have certain freedoms. The guns are one of those freedoms, though they are more controlled in some areas. Oh! and by the way, I have not shot anyone, though I have been in some close encounters with some pretty crazy drunk idiots. As for the gun shows, they are usually "Knife and Gun Show" and I have been to a few. Gun sales in Oregon are still recorded and supposed to be turned in to someone..probably the Police. You can also find some cheap stuff and some other that is pretty cool,,like lazer sites and they have so many more things I do not know about now. I know that with the right license you can have and carry a silencer for your Glock or Sig. Anyway,,there is all kinds of stuff there.
