If you go to meet someone with the sole intention of simply meeting someone, no romantic aspirations in mind, not looking for love or hoping this person will be 'the one' will make for a lot more relaxing encounter, theyre no pressure and you can chill a little. No matter how much you've communicated via digital means and how much you think you may know that person, you dont really know them until youre standing face to face, so why go with crazy notions?
Thus, when you meet up, the least you'll be meeting as is two people who are getting to know each other, maybe become friends, if you click and there is a spark there then excellent!!

I think you're onto something there as in not to take a first meet too serious and be relaxed. Very important, not having unrealistic expectations about a person you don't actually know.
I wouldn't be meeting someone I wouldn't at least hope for a spark, but if there isn't one, it's not a big disappointment.

I have paid attention to your posts. The only thing I can surmise is that 9 was associated with some man. Now, I've already ruled out that he might have lost a finger (9 finger+thumbs left) .... .. but something tells me 9 might have something to do with the digit that doesn't have a nail growing out of it? Good first date would be to meet a woman who looks like her picture.
Then have a drink with her, back to hers, good session, leave in a taxi without having to explain why I am leaving and then on to another perfect first date the next week with another lucky woman.
Perfect date for me is a walking talking coffee date on the beach...so I could leg it into me car at anytime...and if I last more than 20 mins its good sign lol
someone who loves to be witha modern man and pays for the dinner ....she can drop me off to save me the taxi fare and if i decide on a 2nd date can take my washing with her to be returned on the 2nd date ....
