after two years net dating experience I have lot of questions...
And seems my knowledge about the human behaviour is very little...
Would you share with me your thougths why is lie popular? (scammers I already know, what about who seems real...?) I feel I'm lost in the mist of lie...
I am interested in what think people in defferent age and culture.

You are where you are. You can't be lost, unless you .... lie ... to yourself.

The quick and dirty answer is that people are selfish.
A lie is 99% of the time self-serving in some form or another. Could be that someone wants something from you, or they don't want to feel bad or they don't want other people to be angry at them... one way or another, the motivation to lie is self interest.
Lying has nothing to do with age or culture or religion. There are situations where a lie can prevent a disaster or great harm, but that happens so seldom that we don't really need to worry about it. Many people use that as an excuse to lie and that makes matters even worse because then the lie becomes deceit.

It is often connected to age (experience and conscience) Culture ( mostly the surrounding we come from)

I've received a book recommendation connected to my topic!
It's title is :'People of the lie the hope for healing human evil' The author is M. Scott Peck who published it in 1988.
Everyone makes their choice, and for lack of choice we sometimes choose to believe. We are deceived because we allow it and is also a difficult relationship dating net, because we do not have the possibility to look into the eyes of someone else, only way to know if the other is telling the truth

Thank you for your answer!
I agree with you. A personal meeting give much more information...
I have just finished reading the book what I mentioned earlier M.Scott Peck: People of the Lie
I could not imagine that (The Road Less Traveled in '78) he will ever come out with such a theme... I would put on a must read list for everybody!
I've got a another suggested one Rudiger Dahlke: What is Making our World Sick...According to the recommendation what I have seen yesterday it is also very exciting and hopefully will help me to get a clearer 'picture'...

Did somebody meet any of these books?
Hi I was just fixing to sign off and wanted to post on here real quick first. The title of the thread caught my attention. I have had a bad experiance here recently with someone lying to me. Or misrepresenting them selfs. Guess it depends on who you ask on which we will call it. I have read the road less traveled. I also have read other scott pecks books though right now I cannot remember the titles. He is a very good writer. I enjoyed the books. Hope you enjoyed it also.
