Obscuritan: Wow, I had no idea as I have not looked at the votes. Thanks for the honour!
Personally, I do like this system that I inherited from Merri. The "first past the post only" system ended up with someone getting 2 1sts while someone can get everyone (10-20 people) to vote them as their second favourite, and miss out when everyone really thought that it was almost as good as their first preference.
So now you have to put your thinking cap on for something that not only appeals to you but will appeal to a lot of others to get them to put up a picture for voting.

Have fun
Don't give me too much details of how the voting system works, I am not too keen on figure work
If I have 3 things to add up I can guarantee I will do it twice and get 2 different answers

Wash, Oh dear.... your memory,
It was YOU that suggested this system... this was not mine.. and I took it on to try it out...
I preferred that everyone got a vote, one vote, because it made it fairer, in that it counted everyone who got a single vote..

Yeah ok, insects sounds great. An opportunity to get those macro lenses working. Not feeling creative enough to think of anything else at the moment as I am once again in that self-built dark prison.

Obs, as you say "self-built" which means you can find your way out. And getting out to take insect pics in the local reserves is a perfect way of getting out.

Obs - We all have tough days? Don't think too much and yes, get out in the open, look at the beauty of nature?
Every day you can suck air into your lungs is a good day

Told you it was close.
And Rob took out 3rd & 4th spots with his Bonding series (13 & 15 points).
Many thanks for the 16 photots and the 10 people who voted.
So Obs gets the pic this time for this effort.
