I am picky about the "Friend Request" bit. Have received 1 or 3 in my time. Bit it does seem that there are people who are just looking to acquire a number of 'friends' like in FB.

Most of the men that I know, do decline "friend" requests - more often than not it's because they are seeing someone, and I can't be bothered -
"Friends request" I delete the lot being most are O/S request which I have blocked it's their way of trying to contact us if they are blocked being they can't send mail.

I get no friend request and wouldnt accept them anyway sorry but a photo and a few short words does not spell friend not even a mate.i get about 10 hello's a week though 9/10 black skinnies from ghana which i take as a compliment they think i am rich.lol.there is nothing worse than checking a profile to see all her hangers on sitting right there like a trip to the ego booster doctor its an instant turn off as it lacks style and class.

I have never sent a friend request and refuse all unless I do actually know the person. Why would you send a friend request to someone you have never interacted with? Makes no sense.
As for women contacting men, I have never had a problem with it, if I think a guy and I have something in common I will mail him, why not.
I have gotten 2 or 3 friends request the last couple of years, but, as many others here who have replied, I had a feeling there was was a feeling of a scam or there was zero physical attraction. Why start anything if there's zero attraction right? Oh, and I usually just delete any emails from women under 35 saying they can be reached on yahoo, sorry, that really sounds like a scam,lol.

Yes your profile is way too picky you said don't contact if too old which I am and a veggie which I am I don't like cats!! just an example anyhow it doesn't apply to me , but just some advice maybe not so much don't contact me if you don't like this that and the other! and the list is as long as my arm , if you want to really meet someone then I suggest re-do your profile and make it smaller not so full of gripes because that is how you come across. woman don't like that. JMO!

When i get spare time , i do like riding my bike and going to the beach. I do have a car i drag at willowbank , but havent been out for about 15 months. I like walking around sunday markets , spending time at home watching movies , and riding my mountain bike ( trying to get fit atm ).
Im into cars , but thats a good thing. If you cant fnd me , im in the shed , not out at a club trying to pick up some other younger version , ie g/f 2.0

Yep just declined a 20 something from qld with a yahoo email addy smelled scammer to me
