serena123: Let's face facts, to be a forum user on cs takes guts, you need a thick skin to survive :) when you start a thread or post.. Expect criticism and strong opinions. Now for a "newbee" this can be very daunting, and after their first thread or post one of two things happen...Either they run away never to be seen again, or they grow some balls, post again and join us. What I want to know, and the reason for this thread is.."What was the title of the FIRST thread that you started, or posted on in the forums?(Can you even remember) And what reaction did you get?"
I don`t remember , and I can`t look it up ( okay I could probably but don`t know how) as I had another username BOBANBOBAN ... Anyhow ,back then I had to use a dictionary and a translator as my English was far worse than it is now ,yet for some reason ,people were patient and tolerant toward me, at least ..it must had something to do with my face expression ...

Serena I am not sure but I think it was:
What I do not like of CS men's profiles or something about travelling.
I had reactions of all type and I had not problem. My skin is tick and I try not take things personally.
On some topics I might diaagree with some persons and on others we might agree at the end it does not matter.

can't remember! Must have been sometime in Sept/Oct/Nov '07.
i don't remember my first posts, and no longer have them. i was a member quite a while before i started chatting in the threads, and only in the games for a long time. i've only ever started one thread..and it was for a friend. i closed my acct a couple times so have lost all the early info. i regret that as there are some emails i wish i still had.
but in reading this...i remember some of boban's early posts... i think most of them just said 'more vodka'.....
my first posts, was a boring one: "Which is the most important personality trait for deciding if a woman/man is "relationship material"... Try to show how erudite I was. !! just tried only...

My first thread was a poll with the title, "What is the best reason for a celebration?" with the options:
*I'm going to be a grandma!!! *I'm going to be a grandma!!! *I'm going to be a grandma!!! *I'm going to be a grandma!!! *I'm going to be a grandma!!!
I wasn't able to celebrate locally, as my daughter didn't want her pregnancy to be common knowledge at the time. It was really good to be able to celebrate my excitement with my CS friends.
My first thread was under a different name called Snuggles.
The name of it was "Forgiveness".
It was about a boy about 17 years old who killed his mother and younger brother with a shotgun because the younger brother was favored. The boy felt his parents didn't love him. His father wasn't home at the time.
The father was religious and said he forgave his son because he wanted to move on in his life.
The son was in prison.
Not all CS members said they couldn't forgive the son. Those who said they could forgive seemed to understand that the father couldn't hate his son for the rest of his life. It was agreed that because the father was religious he was able to forgive.

Under the name MovinFWD I did a thread simply entitled "Women". Separated and feeling a little confused about the situation, I made a thread about what makes a woman tick and why do they go after certain guys. Got some lashing and also some good feedback, but unto this day I still can't figure out these strange creatures...
