Imagine you just went along to a social group. What would you do? Well you would probably check out who is there. Maybe say "hi" to someone or a few. Then you might actually begin chatting with someone.
The same here lovey. You have to make an effort to get to know others, you have to join in conversations in forums, and blogs.
You actually have to look people up.
You get out of this site what you are prepared to put into it.
