He just strolled over to the Orange Tree, climbed it and picked one Orange, which dropped on the ground and started eating it

Wow, great wildlife pics Rob! How do you manage to get close enough to the birds to photograph them?
And are those black/red/orange walkers, Scrub Turkeys?

robplum: Do you mean the Wallaby's on this page?
They are two types, though not sure but think the bigger one is a Rock Wallaby. The other i dunno but also Wallaby
blues Opps my bad. I have only seen them in zoos or behind glass. Also in cartoons. You are so lucky to see all the wild life you do. wave

Mostly sit around and wait till they visit you, just sitting quietly, others quietly, pretty slowly walking along tack, on spotting bird i usually start clicking and ever so slowly, one step at a time advance towards the subject, all the clicking and you get as close as it will allow you to. Most just sit and wait...
yes Bush Turkey's, two female one male feeding on the grapefruit and orange just off veranda

Again 1 hour later, after posting those went back outside and detected a Golden Whistler high up in a tree, managed to save three pictures of it. Is the same type bird i managed to picture-took in Victoria. Then a Honey Eater revisited the flowers and soon after Miner again so i took photos of those to, all from veranda, so it sort of matters where you are, whether you are surround with trees or places birds visit. They are not unlike fish on coral reef, swim or fly as case maybe, from one place to another searching out food, so best i think to sit quietly and wait a while to see what comes by then just click away mate

I needed the charger inverter function , which I have not tried yet on account of having plenty of power from the hydro . Efficency is much now than the gear ten years older .
