no there is still plenty of wild animal's in there 'right' surroundings. i would not want to prolong a wild animal for satisfaction of keeping them alive just for the amuse. example a lot of breeds of animal have died out, but does that give humans the right to keep them in zoo's

ive made it quite clear in this thread why i don't agree with zoo's. it's inhumain to keep 'wild animals' in closed quaters , they are called wild for a reason

Sure didn't yer man build an ark and stuff a load of animals into it!! He shoulda' left these 'wild' animals to their own devices, survival of the fittest an all that, if they weren't able for gods wrath then they didn't deserve to live!

Put a tiger in a cage (well a compound really.) with a 24/7 vet on call, to preserve the species and people get all high and mighty about the morality of it all. Even worse, put a cat in a wheelie bin, and the world will demand you be punished by jail, flogging or execution.
But will these same people remember tonight when they sit down to dinner, that the meat on their plate use to be a fluffy wuffy lamb, or a cute little piggy wiggy, or a doe eyed little calf, or a tiny fluffy little chick, or a fish swimming wild and free in the oceans?
Like hell they will!!
