Glitch101: Quote from Wiki.

Miriam Carey of Stamford, Connecticut was a 34-year-old dental hygienist licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut. She was born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. She obtained an associate degree in dental hygiene from Hostos Community College and graduated from Brooklyn College in 2007 with a degree in health nutrition science. According to a family spokesman, Carey had previously been hospitalized for postpartum depression.
Carey's mother told ABC News that her daughter had been depressed since the birth of her daughter. Other wise, Her boss and friends, described Carey as a "non-political person" who was "always happy." On the day of the incident, Carey was supposed to be taking her daughter to a doctor's appointment in Connecticut. The FBI found two medications in her apartment, as well as a laptop, a flash drive and three non-working cell phones. Federal officials said she may have suffered from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and believed President Barack Obama was communicating with her. Federal officials said no weapons were found in the her car.

Contradictory statements.18 months is a long time to be depressed.

18 months is far from uncommon.

I see the mass media are at it again. They must be in need of building up their viewership again.

The Authorities aren't going to make certain things privy to the public anyway.

If the parents actually said what the media reported in this article about how their daughter 'seemed ok' why did she do what she did?

It's a very sad story and I'm glad that the daughter was found to be ok.Also depends on how traumatized she is from all that.

Adalstef: The family of a woman who was shot to death outside the U.S. Capitol after trying to ram her car through a White House barrier said Friday they want to know why she had to die.

Speaking at a press conference late Friday in Brooklyn, Miriam Carey's sister Amy Carey-Jones said Friday that her sister "seemed OK" the last time they spoke more than a week ago.

"We're still very confused as a family why she's not still alive," Amy Carey-Jones said late Friday, speaking of her 34-year-old sister. "I really feel like it's not justified, not justified."

Rep. Michael McCaul, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told Fox News that investigators believed Carey suffered "serious" mental issues and that President Obama was trying to communicate with her through radio waves.

Valarie Carey questioned the characterizations of her sister's deteriorating mental health and said Miriam Carey "did not believe the president or any government official was going to do her harm.".... a TV cameraman showed police pointing firearms at her car before she rammed a Secret Service vehicle and continued driving.

What in the world does the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee or the unnamed "investigators" know about this dead woman's mental state? Would they know more than her sister whom she had just seen?

This is typical of the way patsies are demonized, accused of insanity or terrorist connections, etc. Works especially well if the subject has been killed because they aren't around to contradict the claims or prove themselves to be normal and sane.

What if the cops were simply told the car was a terror suspect, they drew their guns on her and, fearing for her life and the life of her daughter, she then tried frantically to get away?

This is exactly what Ive heard people speculate about.

Even that she had some unsettled busyness with Obama regarding paternity of her daughter

I would imagine that thousands of police officers in the US,good police officers, are appalled at the way it was handled.

Antidepressants have a way of prolonging depression.
Works out very well for the drug companies that way.

Just like the Ohio police officer I spoke to the other day disagreed with how it was all handled.Even he thought the tires should've been shot at.

Does anyone ever remember in Grade School playing a game where the teacher told a student in the first row something and that student had to whisper that to the other student and it kept going around the classroom until it got to the last student and that particular student had to repeat what was said. I remember playing it when in Grade School and usually if not always the info didn't come close to matching what the teacher actually said.

Well that's what all the news stories remind me of.
