I just don't care what people talk or think about me,I purely rely on my own decisions and follow my heart.I mostly make friends but I do have a good number of backbiters in my life. So,what are the pros and cons of being Individualist.

I'm so individual I'm not even going to reply
You might want to adopt this principle Sunny..
'What other people think of me is none of my business'
I'm an Individualist most of the time, except for a few times per year. Sort-of like: Military reserve duty, I guess. All pros, I can't think of any cons.

I'd have to say that the majority of people are groupthinkers or contrarians(non-conformists). They'll either think with the group or deliberately think against the group. Neither of which makes them individual.
The leader of the group is the most individual. And the pro of individuality is the chance for social prowess and the con is the risk of social ostracisation: If you want to be original in this life then you need to be great otherwise you will become hated by the sycophantic mass.

Autonomous would probably be the better word over rebellious. The rebellious tend to be non-conformist. They are anti-(mainstream)group. Whereas the truest individual(the leader)is neither with or against the group, but is in fact above the group(hence why he needs to be great).
But I'm being pedantic, we're both singing from the same hymm sheet.

For me rebellious is an individual thing,if a group is meant i cannot call it rebellious, i would call it revolutionary. But revolutions i dont like, coz it is again an --ism, with followers.Followers are mostly parrots.I am totally for developing the individual.

Let's be pedantic.
Perhaps you'd be interested in Ernst Junger's books. He was a german soldier and writer who developed the idea of the "anarch", someone opposite to an anarchist, someone who rescues individual sovereignty over the laws and the politics ("The monarch wants to dominate many, the anarch, only himself").
