Cats need to be kept indoors most of the time to avoid all this.

Having them neutered does not remove their natural predatory instincts and they soon learn to adjust their stealth in order to stop the collar bell from making a sound thumbs up

wave Even neutered, you just send them out to murder. They
live longer being indoors, and don't get run over by cars.
Around here, if you let them out, it is a quick meal for
a coyote. They are one intellegent hunter.

We have these rats called White tailed rats, some can be as big as a cat, they are native but carry a disease called Leptospirosis which can kill an 18 year old.
I've had it and it nearly topped me, was in a ice bath with a drip and a temp of 42, not pretty.

Yes I came home from work one time and found a critter lying dead in my backyard... I thought 'Ew rat' but he was pretty and I thought marsupial.
