mickyj63: Yes that's true we can not deny that !!
But what gets my goat is a minister complaining about low income earners earning to much . After tax and you don't make 40 grand and you earn to much give me a break !! And for those that didn't hear that the infrastructure minister was in Adelaide and being interviewed when holdens announced it was closing !!
Interviewer asked how he could say that when he earns 300'000 a year !!

So whats the answer do low income earners wages get dropped to nothing !! Polies wages should they be dropped !!
What will help the country me on 5 bucks a day or hour ?
I hear you. Australia is an expensive place to live and $40k is not a lot of money to earn in this country. Australian politicians do get paid too much I believe - and have a look at the Governor General's pay of $400,000 pa - and what does he do? Have a good time I would think. I would do the job for half that pay. Tomorrow.

epirb: You got it right ,partly . However its never those with their snouts in the public purse who have to suffer , only those low income people who never have it good when things are better . The attitude here is they are poor because they are uneducated . The work that the poorly paid do is necessary so they ,the low paid , should still be paid a living wage so they can participate in society the same as the scum who seek to rule over us .

Here here
Why should I miss out I work I pay my taxes . I don't drink don't smoke don't do drugs !!
So why should all I be allowed to do is get up go to work come home go to bed get up and start again!!
Why why why
And yes I'm uneducated only completed year 12 (not matric something different)! And yes while others did further ED when they work with me I never have . And those who have gone on to uni I work with are still working with me cant find a job !!

Sorry but why should the rich of this world have everything !!
Why cant I enjoy my life
Why is it wrong if I wanna go out for a meal
Why is wrong to want to have fun

that's right I'm a low paid worker I should be allowed to do anything

Its a problem to get the low paid to vote , Obama energised the low paid by getting them to donate a very small amount of money , they all get their friends energised as well . That is what needs to happen in Australasia

Hi Epirb...

wave

Voting is compulsory here in Australia..

and even if you do a donkey vote.. you still need to register your vote..

If you think that Labor came into office with a strong surplus left by the Liberals... and then Juliar and Cruddy managed to destroy that surplus and continue in the red .. now of course, the Liberals need to make back that money..

So we know that if the Labor party wins a Federal Election.. they will spend money like its going out of fashion...

Then of course, they get voted out... and Liberal have to try and recoup it...

Same old... same old...

and Labour has huge issues with economic management... they just are spenders... doh

And they won two terms , that's what needs to stop . I am sure if they never got comfy they might pull their heads in . I'm advocating changing governments each time there is an election .

well not blank, but you don't mark it...in fact you are suppose to mark it, but as voting is private, no can say you didn't mark it, as long as you place the voting paper in the box...it's crazy
