I to have engaged in killing, causing harm to others etc, at what point of view do we stop our observations in examining truth or if you like meaning, or life's most useful human activity.
Proclaiming nothingness as atheists appear to me to be adhering to places like view into same league as religion.
All beings that have mind and fear death even if they are causing harm to others have the potential to move beyond those sort of activities. The notion we have a right and implement control populations of any sort has its interdependent's. Equal and Opposites, Cause and Effect whatever which-way we contemplate our old habitual activities of harming others

That shrill noise you hear is not specific to religious folk.
Many of the characteristics attributed to religious people also found in non-religious people. People are people, wholly flawed.

speech is a tool but tools can also be used as weapons.as much as how our hands can touch things, or we can used them to make signals. here, and anywhere, you are free to tell your thoughts!
for me “freedom of speech” is not just the right not to be silenced, or want to listen. it's about showing respect towards one another and not shoot out negatives comments.... i am sure here, you are free to say what you want. also to ignore who you dont agree, or dont respect your beliefs.

Free speech? Well you don't believe in it, oh well only if you agree with the content that is. You are like so many others, "I agree with free speech, BUT" blah blah blah...You want free speech for yourself, but you will quickly help take down someone else's comments if you don't agree with them.
