I would say sometimes it is the fear of being hurt. Not always because she has dated a bad man. Take me for instance. I loved my husband very much. Yet now I have many fears of dating again. It is a matter of walking thru the fear that allows one to live again. You cannot do it for her. She must walk on her own at her pace.

Thats sad,im sure there a few good men left,that havent been snapped up and living happy family lives.I think its important couples are well balanced,with the need to get the best possible for ouselves somtimes we set ourselves ridiculous heights,Doomed to fail,hence saying out of your league,I saw a couple on the street,they had two children in pushchairs,I followed them on footpath for half a mile,both of them made Jaws look attractive,and Bubbles look skinny,there children were like little Gremlins,yet it was totally obvious they were in love and extremly happy as a couple.
I wish you sucess in the future.
