NFA = no fixed address.

Was reading a book recently where it made reference to the "other Australian" Colony...... the Middle Island. Seems they wanted to be separate from the northern island. Seems like the more populated island of the time forgot about Stewart Island in later years.

I have family in 2 of the islands and they argue which is the Mainland. Where does the "Mainland" cheese come from???

she sold up everything she owned having been given or at very least understanding she would be able to make and call Australia home. She came to Australian on a 457 visa sponsored her employment was arranged through an employment agency in Germany. She was employed to run a German bakery however after a few months her Australian employer stopped paying her wages and supper contributions, She continued un-payment continued for something like six months, eventually still running the bakery she lived off her savings and eventually filed a "work-place something" complaint against her employer, who was brought before a tribunal, she had a crown appointed paid legal representation throughout the tribunal proceedings.
The Tribunal found in her favor, and the employer promptly filed for bankruptcy, she (not the cats mother) has never seen a cracker.

Has obtained employment out west, which she enjoys and her new employer is willing to take over the sponsorship so she could see out the (now changed) 457 visa conditions, her current employer is wanting her stay on, however enter scumbag department of emigration.
She had in a timely fashion had applied in accordance with law, to transfer her original sponsorship to the happy and willing new employer. On not receiving response back in a timely fashion (within allowed 90 days) from department of emigration, she again contacted the department and was told by the public servant concerned, tuff, she the public servant was busy and your time has expired.
e.g.
"BUT!!

problems are starting again, when i arrived here i informed imigration , well asked how i can change Employers/ Sponsors.. this information was given to me early in January, wich then was put to the Secretary wich deals with all Immigration and Sponsorships issues.
Turns out she didnt put in for my nomination as she was * to bussy* and now I m well well over my 90 Days limit wich i have to find a Sponsor. To find out if i done anything illegal i had to get in touch with Immigration again, only to get told very rude that i should have informed them ages ago. My request for a clearance for a new Sponsor is still unanswered and my new Employer finds it more and more difficult to keep me on."!

She wrote to a government minister who didn't even have the courtesy to reply to her correspondence and is now, if not already likely to be deported well before the time limit of her original 457 visa reached expiry date.
Outrageous treatment of someone who has in every respect fully complied and has not broken any law whatsoever. the dirty pricks...

Mainland Cheese is Italian, the Fonterra Co-operative Group own it. Otherwise known as Moriori Cheese.

It all began as a family business in the South Island of New Zealand, Mainland Products Ltd was founded in 1954 by a Peter McConnon.

Listen to a Mainland Cheese YouTube ad from New Zealand, dated around 1991. Possibly the first of the Mainland ads using the "These things take time" theme, which has continued through to the present day.

Actually
Long before it was named Mainland Cheese the Moriori Cheese was made from pure Moa milk and it sustained New Zealand's original people up until arrival of Hawaiian Rat Farmers, cannibals, the Rat Farmers eat most all the Moriori People and all the Moa as well, then finally, a bunch of Taranaki Maori Rat Farmers, killed the remaining Moriori people.
It wasn’t until 1954 before the famous Moriori Cheese was renamed Mainland, however that name is now own by an off shoot of the Italian Mafia who filled eggs with Mainland and will of course live un-happily for ever after…

Recently improved the quality of pictures that i've been taking by changing the ISO setting, changed it to ISO800 that move has greatly improved the image detail i think. Only done that two three weeks ago, so if you visit posts # 272 on-wards this link you might notice the nature of the change
< >

Am using three x three sets of three pixel but not spot, the camera focus just in that area only that to helped to.

the camera (OM-D E-M1} is a mirror-less camera, has no mirrors, fully Auto Focus including 3 4th auto focus 75mm 300mm lens, it can still take pictures at night without a flash as long as it detects a target.

However the settings i've got it set at has limits, it hates cloudy days, fog or dark back ground. And hates to much light.
However it makes up for those limitations on every nice sunny day providing the subjects are not bathed in to much light.
I'm keeping the current settings, and don't get into fiddling with other possibilities as i have spent a couple of months sorting menu settings and am happy with current, as it's doing what i want it to do, take pictures of birds in the wild right now.
The settings allow me to turn on, focus and shoot, it can focus on target pairing through bushes, will even ignore small branches in front of target. Over all I'm happy with results, even though the camera is quite capable in all other circumstance accept i'd have to change something, no no no...
I'll post some examples in the OM-D thread of the better photos of late
