I'm not the jealous-type. Jealousy scares me. I've heard too many ugly stories. Usually, the lady is the victim. I don't think jealousy is healthy in a relationship.

We're on the same boat. I would probably be in a relationship with the many long distance offers, but I really want a local man. Been there done that with distanced romance...never again.

Had a long distance 4.5 years ago, he was english worked fine for ten month Ryanair is cheap and earned a lot of money on us lol. For several reason we finnished it, so since then im on my own. To many on here just want the bedtime, think they are desperate. I dont think i will have any luck but hope is the last to go I heard lol

I can relate. My last long distanced relationship lasted 4 yrs. He eventually wanted someone closer and I was not going to relocate to New York. Our distance was 4 hrs. We had so much in common. He broke my heart, and I didn't die from a broken heart. Life is too short to dwell on the past.

I agree with you ladies. I did the long distance thing and I will never do it again. In L.A., being an "older woman" is the kiss of death in the romance department and I respect myself too much to be somebody's mattress or shack up with someone 20 years older. Long story short, I'm done. Instead of inviting "man problems", I focus on my health, doing good in the community and my family. It's much more rewarding

Took me 3,5 years to get over mine lol and no i didnt die either maybe cos i have about 1,5 kilo of ductape around it. Sure not going to die from a broken heart lol. But I would love to fall in love again, after all I think it is worth it

Hopefully the next chapter in my life will be one where I'll finally learn what it is to be in love and to be truly loved in return. Don't know if it's realistic or not, but anything less is not an option.
