Obstinance_Works: I for one certainly believe that there'd be far fewer of those faces you just want to punch if more people lived their lives possessed with religious humility.

Did you punch Agentajax? He hasn't been around for awhile! Perhaps he backed out of his own thread because he was getting too much resistance?

Really? This was my first time seeing any of his threads....maybe he was intimidated because I held my ground?
Thanks for the heads up-I'll anxiously await his next "mumbo-jumbo" thread grin

Gee, thank you JeanKimberly, how nice of you to say. But if he comes back, you might now be added to his "bad list" since you sided with me...and I'm sure that scares you so much, eh? laugh
I think I angered him because I remained mature/polite even when he tried to "break me"....just another day at the office rolling on the floor laughing

AgentAjax: I haven't heard one yet!Is it possible to come up with one that is logical.

Myself, I have not idea what is all about this universe and the infinite others but there is a quote from a great scientist that I like:

”There is no conflict between
the ideal of religion and the ideal of science,
but science is opposed to theological dogmas
because science is founded on fact.

To me, the universe is simply a great machine
which never came into being and never will end.
The human being is no exception to the natural order.
Man, like the universe, is a machine".

Sure, sure! No idea! tongue

So, you're 35 - yup, obviously younger than me. However, I've had a few gents even younger than you ask me out, (which I have politely refused), so guess my age really isn't that important - just like this thread rolling on the floor laughing

I know not what you speaketh of tru, I am an angel

OK, even I know that is wrong, as I do have a lil devil in me. But it's not my fault....it's the way God created me (I'm sure the OP, if he ever comes back to this thread, won't appreciate or see the humor in that last comment) laugh

AgentAjax: When you say nothing you cannot replace it with something like god. Nothing is absence of everything.

I didn't see the word "god" in his reply to you. Why do you interject that?

All matter did not create itself from nothing. Unless by "god" you refer to rock/earth as "god" and that it created itself from nothing. Do you have evidence that matter created itself ?

Is your question regarding creation just a bait and switch to a different question: "Can you prove God exists?" If so, then you were disingenuous.
