That you are . Your mind, to my mind, and then you got two great minds .[/quote
Does the world really need more great minds
or more compassionate hearts?

cafetwo2010: 'In the image of God means not so much the physical
appearance but the attributes such as mind spirit and
soul. Animals can think but they do not think about
their thinking. The real King Kong was shot
down on the Empire State building in New York.

54xmax: I did read all your posts. I wrote the one to you, before I read everything.

With all due respect to your faith, such as it is. As long, as you can sleep in peace, and as long as you are a good woman within your heart and soul. I am good with that.

The issue I have is with people who claim that they have faith, yet they hide behind religion, are all self righteous, and are trying to show down everybody's throats in the world, that "their" belief system is the only one that is the right one, and all the others will burn in hell if they don't convert to their way of believing, they will burn in hell. Basically, cult mentality. ( I am talking here about all religions here, I am not discriminating in any shape or form ).

I also do not support in any way shape or for Creationism.

Any further discussion, as you said is a waste of time, and energy.

I can agree with you, that we don't agree about this particular subject .

I can respect your opinion, even if it differs from mine :)
As for me, I belong to a non-denominational Christian church that does not focus on us being the "right church"....we are all there for our own reasons, and are accepted for who we are. as we are.
I never, ever bring up my church, beliefs, etc....to anyone, except if I'm asked. I didn't always go to church in the past, but always stayed in tune to my spirituality/God in my own way, until 5 years ago, when I found my church. I go for my own reasons. I never tell anyone they will "burn in Hell" if they don't accept the Lord....everyone has a right to believe/not believe.

cafetwo2010: In all due respect I am one who loves a good
hard piece of evidence but in all fairness should
not the burden of proof fall to the atheist to prove
such profound and complex subjects such as the exact
moment of creation so as to make it perfectly
clear for all to understand? What I've read so
far in terms of proof from the atheist camp is
nothing more than grand sweeping generalities
and virtually nothing to enhance for the betterment
humanity.

Well said!

AgentAjax: I haven't heard one yet!Is it possible to come up with one that is logical.

All religions are man made for me ,but I believe in Creation and a Supreme Creator ,because there are things that make me to believe.

1.Who we are, where are we coming from and where we are going?

2.What force created energy and Gravity?Where the atoms, neutrons etc get their energy from?

3.Harmony in the Universe from smallest to the biggest objects obeying the same law ,behaving the same.

4.Our intelliegence ,thoughts and feelings ,are direct proof of that we are not just a physical beings.

Concidering all these ,only logical answer to me is Creation .The Universe is a Grand design. The biggest mistake is ,we are trying to give a shape or form to God(creator). But Its immposible for us imagine as He is something that we have never seen and have no any clue about its nature. We are living in a 3D world,But God might be in the 100s dimention. How much would we know about 100s Dimention?
Imagine 2 fishes talking about building a shuttle to fly to the moon. Its same as we are trying to understand the God or the whole Creation. How much would fish know about the working principal of the technology?Same as how much we could know about God.
Can you post a video on youtube with a calculator? No way,cos calculator doesnt support windows software etc.Same as our brain doesnt support a higher softwares that able seing or understanding the nature of God.We only able to create small stories with religion ,redusing the God to our level, cos we are not capable of thinking better than that.Same with Atheists. They go the easiest way just telling that there's no Creation or Creator. But what the hell they know?Their brains are not much different from those who r believing sadomazochist small gods created by religons.

So I think smart person would never claim that there's no God or there's one.Smart person would say,i dont know, but i belive or i dont believe.
wink grin

AgentAjax: Perhaps if both ends of the space and matter are infinite, which I place a big doubt on.

Ok...Particle physics confused ok, so, since faith is believing in something one can't prove and many believe life is infinite, how many fugitive particulates of 10 micron size does it take to fill one bushel?

Mme La Maréchale: Are you not Monsieur Crudeli?

Crudeli: Yes, Madame.

Mme La Maréchale: Then you're the man who doesn't believe in anything.

Crudeli: In person, madame.

Mme La Maréchale: Yet your moral principles are the same as those of a believer?

Crudeli: Why should they not be -- as long as the believer is an honest man?

Mme La Maréchale: And do you act upon your principles?

Crudeli: To the best of my ability.

Mme La Maréchale: What? You don't steal? You don't kill people? You don't rob them?

Crudeli: Very rarely.

Mme La Maréchale: Then what do you gain by not being a believer?

Crudeli: Nothing at all, madame. Is one a believer from motives of profit?
