Swieqi - the q does not sound like g in Maltese its difficult to pronounce
Xewkija..... Was the worst, no where near.

You really SHOULD go for a holiday in Malta, and Gozo!
In Gozo (I don`t know about Malta) you buy a 7 day bus ticket for 7 Euro and you can hop-on hop-off buses all over Gozo, to anywhere, anytime you like - and while riding the name of the next town comes up on a sign over the driver, AND a voice SAYS it ... so you get to learn how to pronounce the names.
And the people there (on Malta and Gozo) are SO friendly and nice.

But first I want to learn how to say somethings correctly and Twinny and Lilly are helping me abit by giving me free online lessons..

And the j in Xewkija is not the jargon j... it sounds like the y in yacht.

French are all the same, they dont even know how to pronounce their own places. You ask a french for some directions in France and they will lead you to Zimbabwe :), If you are so interested in Malta :) then by a book and read about it, i am sure you have schools over there to tech you how to read :)

I can't really speak about the French education system because I'm not French... So stop with the insults
But in Ireland they not only TEACH how to read but to write too. And if you had of READ the thread instead of trying to be a smart alec and jumping in you'd have quickly discovered that the typo's I made were because I was in the middle of rolling a joint at the time of penning my piece...
