From my experience true love is very rare to find. And its hard to repair a broken heart, though its possible by the right hands. Whats your opinion friends.

You are lucky if you believe that a broken heart can be healed by the right hands. I think a broken heart leaves scars. That means it healed, but it will never function as good as a new one. Like scar tissue, it doesn't stretch so well anymore. :-)

I've been told that time heals all wounds.
I think the cracks tend to close overtime but after a few more times of getting your heart broken your heart becomes a little worn.

That's a very interesting question. Some heal and others don't. The strong survive and come out stronger. The weak lose yet another part of themselves to the wolves....

Its true Nidifugus, but this is real life, let the scars be there as a reminder as a precaution. Past is always past, it can't be changed. But I think, living in past is not good. So its better to open on doors hoping the best to come.

Just like a broken leg can heal so too can a broken heart,
If we learn to detach and find contentment in just being by ourselves and give ourselves time to do that without wanting another to fill that void of saddness because we are still attached emotionally to another then we are only fooling ourselves,,,

Thats true. Broken is always broken, nobody new can replace it. Eventhough when time passes the pain get reduce when new person comes to fill that gap. Though, that gap cannot be filled for sure, but only a scar can be remained. In other words the depth and pain of the wound get reduced if right person comes to our life at right time.

My heart was broken. Yes, it hurt lots, but I kept going forward. I distracted myself from the pain and eventually the hurt was gone. You can't dwell on things forever.

I was going to say that broken hearts never mend until I read what was in the quote.
But I think that you have to have a heart first.
Most women do not have a heart, all they want to do is get what they want from you, then leave you for dead.

Being heartless and using others is not a gender specific problem. I've met several guys in my time who will do anything to get their hands on money... and I mean anything. These people are usually very perceptive (men and women) and they know how to play with an honest person's emotions, how to spot and exploit weaknesses, etc. They're just rotten people who have no moral compass.
