so 3,5 billion would remain.
We would lose a lot of smart people and women.
5,5 million belgians less. half my street gone. half my family.
On the other hand the globe would be a lot better off. nature can take a breather. consumption by half.

the whole nation? belgium is 11million. so i went only till half.
The only trouble i have is with desolate places. australia is 23million heads for a huge island. there is plenty space left. why loose half the heads?
You can't compare it to the crowded Philippines, Japan or West Europe.
Luckily it is only a wish. you also need the crowd to evolve into better things.
more humans interactions and more stress will solve certain riddles and scientific challenges.
However i don't want to wish for 7 billion rich people.or happiness by consuming.
Maybe the next wish would be interstellar travel and mass migration to colonize.

Len. Ok. My mistake on Belgium. Everyone can't be rich . Who would make the burgers at McDonald or fly the plane. We are going to need room on Earth soon. Perhaps government should just start giving away "one way tickets" to Mars .

I'd wish there were no more holidays. Usually only government and bank workers get paid leave on these days. Not right for the real workers here in the USA.
