JeanKimberley: As my was car idle at the stop light, I thought about my idol; I changed to meet that shinning knight, on a cold winter's night. Who was to know, when I did not say no, that I would sing such a hymn, from him when he made me a happy maid.It was him, my sole soul mate. And I never will know a morning with mourning again.

Well... i like it.laugh Always believed English speakers, writing and speaking Greek, but most, were unaware of it. 60% Greek directly or indirectly in the English language,is quite a percentage.grin
JeanKimberley: A homophone is a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning, and may differ in spelling. The words may be spelled the same, such as rose (flower) and rose (past tense of "rise"), or differently, such as carat, caret, and carrot, or to, two, and too. Homophones that are spelled the same are also both homographs and homonyms. Homophones that are spelled differently are also called heterographs. The term "homophone" may also apply to units longer or shorter than words, such as phrases, letters or groups of letters that are pronounced the same as another phrase, letter or group of letters.

The word derives from the Greek homo- (?µ?-), "same", and phon? (f???), "voice, utterance".

well Chris would like this....

I described to the sales clerk a pair of shoes I had been looking for. He said he will go in the back and check his inventory while I munch on my pear. While waiting for the clerk to come back, I decided to pare the skin off the pear grin

Some words can also be spelled the same but have completely different meanings. For instance, I took my Biology exam last Friday. I was asked to name two things commonly found in cells. Apparently "Blacks" and "Mexicans" were NOT the correct answers.
