women have more power today then then ever have..years ago the woman was subservient to her man and this in my opinion is what made most marriages work..the rise of this feminism/girl power crap is the root cause of many broken homes..NOT ALL!!

KNenagh: Compatibility.

2 people have to want the same thing and I simply think that's often not the case.

Being honest with what people want and giving it time to get to know each other might actually have prevented some people from marrying each other.

That's why I didn't marry any of my exes.

Joking aside, as much as I had great times with my exes, I don't think with someone's attitude it could have worked long-term and I'm simply glad that I took my time and really talked with him to find out about that beforehand.
Joking aside ive nothing personal against divorced people only my observations on a modern day changing Ireland , Compatibility think you have hit the nail on the head beer handshake

I think most people marry not to get divorced and everyone deserves to be happy.

I think most people see divorce as the last resort when things have inconceivably broken down and if two people see divorce to be taken lightly then they entering into marriage was taken lightly also.

I do think younger generation knows what they want more in life nowadays and not prepared to accept second best just for the sake of it,

The big day is beautiful for a bride and groom and when alot of money is spent on the big day and they struggled or struggling to pay for it and put all their energies into the big day it can be an anti climax after the wedding day,

Each to their own anyway who am I to say.

Must plan the next one in Vegas and divorce next day,be a fun day out.

Well at least they gave it a shot and tried to do it the right way. I guess Feminism told them they'd be happy after the divorce that all them men they see on Telly would run to them in a shot.

Then what happens instead is they get a cat collection and end up on connectingsingles.com talking to Rasheed, Muhammed and Anto.

stanley8m: I can never figure that one out. In some cases the men have a choice between a nice warm female and a cold screen, and some of them choose the cold screen.

Cold fish comes to mind.

Cold screen.

They need to take a cold shower and then jump into a hot one with some ,,,,body. To
