In response to: There ya go, MJ.

I think the unemployment figures are down,

But I dont know how many have left to emigrate,.

The number looks good on paper tho.

The accountants might be able to tell us what surplus the jet setters have in their savings account,

The banks are adding on more interest to Visa cards used in ATM machines and it will be 6 percent. 3 per cent more if we withdraw our money actually in the bank by a cashier.

I'm reporting off now,

grin

Macroeconomics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Macroeconomics (from the Greek prefix makro- meaning "large" and economics) is a branch of economics dealing with the performance, structure, behavior, and decision-making of an economy as a whole, rather than individual markets. This includes national, regional, and global economies. With microeconomics, macroeconomics is one of the two most general fields in economics.

Macroeconomists study aggregated indicators such as GDP, unemployment rates, and price indexes to understand how the whole economy functions. Macroeconomists develop models that explain the relationship between such factors as national income, output, consumption, unemployment, inflation, savings, investment, international trade and international finance. In contrast, microeconomics is primarily focused on the actions of individual agents, such as firms and consumers, and how their behavior determines prices and quantities in specific markets.

While macroeconomics is a broad field of study, there are two areas of research that are emblematic of the discipline: the attempt to understand the causes and consequences of short-run fluctuations in national income (the business cycle), and the attempt to understand the determinants of long-run economic growth (increases in national income). Macroeconomic models and their forecasts are used by governments to assist in the development and evaluation of economic policy.

Like most Greek words ..The Greeks are the best obes to understand them uh oh

I am a firm believer that a fiscal year starts with the letter F and shoe laces were invented by a man/woman with 2 hands

People with Leftie views also should never be allowed into government ..this is because they can only turn one direction uh oh

Or by someone with 3 hands, who wanted to still have one hand free for other activities.

Dont matter if you take 500 lessons only one thing will make you safe driving and thats experience you cant gain that if your not allowed to drive on the roads ya fair enough i admit it will give a complete novice the minimum basics but a lot of bad driving is due to lack of experience and common sense, cars can kill so its up to the individual once they take control of the wheel

Whilst unfair, that's why the insurance is so high for young drivers - they do NOT have experience, they drive like idiots with their extra-large overcompensating exhaust pipes, and cause more accidents - statistically speaking.

With so many young men having accidents and getting killed on our roads,
Insurance companies will cover themselves ,, not all young men are the same , but that is the unfair part.

Tinypaws: But.. they have the NHS......

Free health care is grand. One thing I do miss not living in England anymore.

It is swings and roundabouts really.
They have free doctor just a small charge for prescription drugs,
it was 6 pounds when i lived there some years ago.

So anyone paying private healthcare here, will know how expensive it is.
Also as was said earlier,, unemployment benifit,, child benifit and
state pension are all less overthere than here.

I hear their doing or done away with displaying a tax disc in England ,even the news this evening the cost of oil has plummeted to an all time low but are the savings being passed on to the public ?,
